Name

Donald Shea

Title

General Manager

Donald began his career at Foxfire in August 1997 as First Assistant Golf Professional. He was promoted to Head Golf Professional in October 2000 and named Director of Golf six years later. In December 2012, Donald was promoted to General Manager, responsible for all operations at Foxfire.

Donald has excelled as a teacher and manager. He received the “Junior Golf Leader” award from the Southwest Florida Chapter PGA in both 2004 and 2006. In 2008, Donald was recognized as the Southwest Florida Chapter PGA “Golf Professional of the Year.” He is a PGA Class A Member and holds a B.S. in Education. His home state is Massachusetts.

Victoria Gabriel

Title

Controller

Victoria completed four years at Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, where she studied public/municipal administration and management. Victoria also attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. Victoria is a licensed CPA in Florida.

Prior to joining Foxfire in 2021, Victoria served as Director of Accounting for Moorings Park Communities. Victoria also worked for a national public accounting firm where she performed audits for companies in a variety of industries.

Galina Sparacino

Title

Food & Beverage Director

Galina joined Foxfire in 2006 as the Food & Beverage Manager and was promoted to Food & Beverage Director in 2012. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Foxfire dining areas.

Galina has worked in the food-service industry since she was 18 years old. She left the Republic of Bulgaria to gain food-service experience at the Cintiana Hotel in the historic city of Paphos, Cyprus. In 2003, she came to the U.S. to work as Banquet Manager at the Radisson Beach Resort on Marco Island.

Leonce Pierre

Title

Executive Chef

Leo joined the Foxfire culinary team as a line cook in September 2005. He advanced to Sous Chef in 2011 and was promptly promoted to Executive Chef in 2012. Leo is responsible for delivering a great member-dining experience.

Leo gained his food-service experience at the Culinary School of Haiti in 1991. He came to the U.S. in 1996 to join the Marco Island Yacht Club as Assistant Chef. In 2002, he joined Stoney's Steak House in Naples as Sous Chef and advanced to Chef.

Ray Edwards

Title

Sous Chef

Ray joined Foxfire in 2012 after serving as the Executive Chef at two restaurants, one in Punta Gorda and the other on Sanibel Island. He is a former college and professional football player and a Navy veteran. While in the Navy, Ray attended cooking school for eight months in Meridian, MS where he learned to prepare food for large groups – 6,000 meals at a time.

After his Naval service, Ray returned to his hometown the Bronx, NY and attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. He worked at restaurants in New York, California, North Carolina and New Orleans before coming to Southwest Florida. Ray also served as Sous Chef at Tiburón Golf Club and Frascatti’s Italian Restaurant.

Stephen Richardson

Title

Head Golf Professional

Stephen joined Foxfire in November 2000 as Second Assistant Golf Professional. He was promoted to First Assistant Golf Professional in 2003 and three years later was promoted to his current position as Head Golf Professional. Stephen manages the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop and Cart Barn, oversees clerical functions and ensures efficient utilization of the golf course as specified by the General Manager.

Stephen has been a PGA Class A Member since April 2000. He is originally from Brooklyn, New York and has been a Naples resident since 1991.

Dylan Guehlstorf

Title

First Assistant Golf Professional

Dylan was born in Franklin, WI. Dylan started playing golf at a young age and competed on his high school golf team in Greendale, WI. He attended the Golf Academy of America in 2017 and is a Level 2 Associate of the PGA Professional Golf Management Program working toward being a Class A Professional. He started working in the industry in 2018 at the Country Club at Deer Run. In 2019, he returned home to Wisconsin and worked at Buttes des Morts Country Club as the Second Assistant. He has been at Foxfire for 5 years now and is the First Assistant Golf Professional.

Golf Course Maintenance

Name

Jonathan Vingson

Title

Golf Course Superintendent

Jonathan joined Foxfire in April 2003 and is responsible for the maintenance of the golf course as well as the common areas of Foxfire.

Prior to coming to Foxfire, Jonathan managed golf-course crews at the Vineyards Country Club, Eagle Creek Country Club and the Quality Inn Golf & Country Club, all in Naples. He studied Recreational Grounds Management in Hickory, North Carolina, but originally comes from the Philippine Island

Gavin Hess

Title

Common Grounds Supervisor

Gavin joined Foxfire as an equipment operator in 2008 and was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2013.

Gavin is originally from Upstate New York and is a graduate of Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Communications. He began his golf career at Naples Grande Beach Resort in 2006. Before moving to Florida, Gavin lived on a family-owned tree farm for 14 years where his love for agriculture blossomed.

Jeremy Vingson

Title

Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Jeremy joined Foxfire in 2011. After working on the crew for four years, he was promoted to Assistant Golf Course Superintendent in 2015.

He is currently attending Penn State University’s World Campus online program pursuing an A.S. in Turf Grass Management and Agricultural Sciences. Jeremy is BMP (Best Management Practices) certified, has his GCSAA (Golf Course Superintendents Association of America) Class C membership and is a proud Dale Carnegie graduate.

Greg Gadoua

Title

Tennis Instructor

Greg has been running tennis drills and giving private lessons at Foxfire for more than 10 years. He has been teaching tennis for over 30 years and is a USPTA P1 professional. Additionally, Greg provides racket-stringing service to Foxfire members.
